Responsibilities
- Leads and owns process improvement projects by identifying and analyzing preliminary business needs, conducting Cost Benefit Analysis, identifying causal factors and potential solutions, overseeing implementation of solutions, and reporting results and progress.
- Assists process owners on process engineering/re-engineering initiatives including Process Design/Mapping, Process Documentations, setting up of Process Measures and Control points.
- Supports process feature development, implementation, and training.
- Communicates the project’s progress to the Project Team and key Stakeholders through Gate Reviews or Report Out presentations.
- Manages the prioritization and implementation of solutions identified by identifying key action steps to take, process owners responsible, and establishes a target date for the implementation. Sets regular review or progress update sessions to all individuals involved to ensure timely execution of action plan.
- Manages issues and risks considered as potential problems in the execution of projects by resolving them quickly and sets in place a plan of action to eliminate, reduce or mitigate these issues or risks. Identifies and escalates issues that require immediate action to the Sponsor or key stakeholder that has authority in the overall decision to ensure that the project does not deviate from its objectives, time plan, and budget.
- Manages the process performance after solution implementation by recommending performance metrics and measuring how much improvement was sustained by determining the actual benefits realized (soft and hard savings or benefits).
- Facilitates Value Stream Analysis and Lean Event (Rapid Improvement Workshop, Mini-Lean Event, SPARK or PCD Sessions) workshops with process owners.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering, business management or relevant field is an advantage
- At least 2 years of experience in Banking, Credit Card Companies, Financial Technology/Fintech, Investment Houses, Business Process Outsourcing/BPO, Leasing/Financing Institutions
- Preferably Certified/Trained, Lean Six Sigma Certification (Green Belt)
- Knowledge of the value stream or process mapping, process reengineering, basic Statistics, Lean Six Sigma tools and methodologies, Human-Centered Design (Design Thinking) methods.
- Familiarity on Project management and process improvement tools is a huge advantage
- Experienced or at least familiar with Excel Macro/ VBA programming, Lucid Chart and other automation tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; excellent diagramming and communication skills; business process improvement, business analysis
- Able to communicate well across all levels in the organization
